On Nov. 1, 2013, the Explore Big Sky newspaper printed a nonprofit-focused issue called the “Guide to Giving.” Featuring 20 not-for-profit organizations from around the region, the special edition was a smashing success.

“The idea is that businesses, in addition to their ad, are getting a chance to show how they are involved in the community,” said Maria Wyllie, Account Coordinator for the Outlaw Partners. “Not only are they getting coverage for their business, they’re also supporting a cause that they care about and giving those nonprofits an opportunity to share what it is they do and tell how people can get involved.”

Now, we’re at it again. April 18 will see the second nonprofit edition of EBS, again highlighting some of the charitable organizations in our area that put others first, attracting volunteers for such worthy endeavors as search and rescue, youth empowerment, wildlife conservation and abused or neglected children, to name a few.

“For me, the great experience was finding out there was [this] supporter out there,” said Mary Peterson, Executive Director for Eagle Mount, a Bozeman based nonprofit that was sponsored by the Inn on the Gallatin last November. “We’re thrilled with the Inn. What a great way for a new business to be involved [in the community].”

Here are the details:

Advertise your business and support a cause

Sponsor a nonprofit in the special April 18 issue of Explore Big Sky’s “Guide to Giving.”

Buy an advertisement for your business, and in turn we will reserve space for an article on the cause or organization of your choice, also noting how you support them.

The reward is two-fold: Raise awareness for your favorite nonprofit organization while also gaining recognition for ways in which you give back to the community.

Let us know if this is something you might be interested in being a part of, as we have had great feedback on behalf of supporters and nonprofits in last year’s issue.

Limited spaces are available. For pricing information and to reserve space in the “Guide to Giving,” email maria@theoutlawpartners.com or call the Outlaw Partners office at (406) 995-2055 by April 10.
