BOZEMAN – The Bozeman Symphony begins its 47th concert season on Sept. 27 with a piece composed by Kenneth Fuchs called “Discover the Wild.” Fuch’s composition was inspired by the landscapes of the American West and will be set to a photography slideshow by Thomas Lee.

On Oct. 25, the symphony presents “A Night in Paris,” beginning with Ravel’s homage to the 17th and 18th centuries of French music. The cellist fireworks and Spanish flair of Eduardo Lalo’s “Cello Concerto in D Minor” will follow, and the evening will end with a performance of Cesar’s Franck’s “Symphony in D,” widely considered his most popular work and greatest achievement.

With the Willson Auditorium being renovated, the Bozeman Symphony will be performing at The Commons at Baxter and Love for most of the season – from September through February – returning to the Willson in March and April.
