BIG SKY – The Big Sky Community Food Bank will host an open house on Thursday, Nov. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. This is a chance to tour the facility, meet donors and volunteers, and find out how to get involved. Savory hors d’oeuvres and wine will be served.
The first food distribution will take place on Nov. 13 between 3 and 7 p.m. Because the facility most likely won’t be open until later in the month, that first delivery will be from a refrigerated truck.
Any Big Sky resident shopping through the Gallatin Valley Food Bank in Bozeman can use the Big Sky food bank. Others who need food or have questions should contact the GVFB at (406) 586-7600 to arrange for shopping locally.
The Big Sky Community Food Bank is located in the Big Horn Shopping Center on U.S. 191. Before the end of the month, all operations and information will be serviced at that facility.
