Local jeweler, Ariane Coleman, will be part of the upcoming Artwalk in the Big Sky Meadow Village, Feb. 18. Coleman’s work explores “spacial relation within layers of metal,” creating a unique sculptural effect.
“Stacking layers of metal together creates shadows and plays with the viewers eye by continually changing the jewelry’s positive and negative spaces,” Coleman says.
She recently began using semi-precious stones and beads in her handcrafted jewelry, adding elements of color.
All jewelry is on display at Gallatin River Gallery.
