BOZEMAN – The Infamous Stringdusters will bring their heralded, high energy performance to Bozeman’s Emerson Cultural Center on Tuesday, Oct. 30. The Grammy nominated band has earned a reputation as one of the best touring acts in the country, and their Halloween Eve engagement will include a costume contest judged by local celebrities.
The Stringdusters’ 20-date fall tour kicks off Oct. 16, at the Brooklyn Bowl in New York, the same day the band releases Silver Sky – Deluxe Edition.
The band’s 2007 debut album Fork in the Road garnered attention from The International Bluegrass Music Association, which awarded them three major prizes that year: best song, emerging artist and album of the year. Since then, the Infamous Stringdusters have spent “a good stretch of time…learning their craft and woodshedding their musical chops,” according to the Lexington Herald.
The band recently relocated from Nashville, Tenn. to Charlottesville, Va. After Bozeman, they head to Missoula for a Halloween performance at the Top Hat Lounge.
