Team loses 87–0 to top-ranked team in Montana

In its first-ever playoff game in its debut season, the Lone Peak Big Horns football team lost to the No. 1 team in Montana, Denton High School.
The team finished 3–6 overall this season (2–3 in Western C Conference).
Of the four teams in Lone Peak’s conference to make the playoffs this season, two of them won (No. 23 Alberton and No. 25 Hot Springs.
Alberton won over Reed Point-Rapelije 41–32 and moves on to play Geraldine-Highwood next Saturday. Hot Springs beat Custer-Melstone 58–8 and plays Savage High School next weekend.
