BOZEMAN – Montana State University has set a new record for spring enrollment, with 13,700 students enrolled for the 2013 spring semester. That’s nearly 400 more than last year’s spring enrollment of 13,306, which was the previous spring semester enrollment record.
MSU has set new records for spring enrollment the last five years, according to James Rimpau, MSU’s vice president of student success.
Rimpau explained that university enrollments traditionally drop from fall to spring. MSU enrolled a record 14,660 students last fall.
“The strong spring enrollment is a reflection of the record-setting fall that we had,” Rimpau said. “Our growing enrollment is evidence of the value of our programs and evidence of the quality of our faculty. Students are choosing MSU because they know they will get a quality education here.”
