BIG SKY – Designed for new members and members with new employees, the Big Sky Chamber of Commerce orientation program will take place after the Chamber Board Meeting, which is open to the public, on the second Tuesday of each month. The orientation will be at the Chamber’s new office on the corner of Highway 191 and Lone Mountain Trail.
The sessions will help new clients with business registration, licensure, insurance and online marketing through the Chamber’s website, affiliates, or an individual one. It will also be a chance for attendees to learn more about upcoming event sponsorship opportunities and partnership programs.
Also a networking opportunity, “the meetings will be a chance to meet and work directly with other new Chamber members and Chamber staff to see how we can all meet their needs and grow their understanding of what we can do for them,” said membership director Robin Brower-McBride.
Other Chambers of Commerce are concurrently devising similar programs and Big Sky wants to be on the front line, Brower-McBride said.
The first Big Sky Chamber of Commerce member orientation will be Tuesday, July 10, from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. New Members and Members with new employees are especially encouraged to attend. Wireless internet will be available.
