Friday, Dec. 2 is the night to be in Big Sky. After a day on the slopes, head to the Big Sky Town Center at 5 p.m. and show off your skills at the Pray for Snow Party and Rail Jam, sponsored by Moonlight Basin. Additional sponsors for the event include: Rockstar Energy Drink, DJ Bones, Grizzly Outfitters the Big Sky Town Center, Toy Solders Productions and Choppers Grub and Pub.
Don’t forget to bring your helmet, and spots will fill up fast, so arrive on time to sign up for the Rail Jam.
The party will move to Choppers Grub and Pub at 8 p.m. with a showing of Toy Soldiers Productions’ 2011/12 film “Set Your Sights.” Meet the Toy Soldiers team and enjoy drink and food specials.
DJ Bones will be spinning all through the night, and make sure to stay for the Moonlight Basin season pass drawing at 9 p.m. Lucky winners can also receive Rockstar and Moonlight swag.
Don’t forget to bring old skis/boards to burn in the bonfire as a sacrifice to ULLR, the snow god, and pray that La Nina will once again spare us the gift of pow. Come help us celebrate the start of another epic season!
5 p.m. – Party starts in Town Center with bonfire, offerings to Ullr and DJ Bones live
6 – 8 p.m. – Rail Jam* (rider judged) *Space is limited, Helmets required to participate
8 – 9p.m. – Party continues in Choppers, Toy Soldiers premier
9 p.m. – Drawings for MB season pass, Moonlight Basib and Rockstar swag (must be present to win)
9 p.m. – Close – DJ Bones live in Choppers
