BOZEMAN – Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont., is hosting a Tourism Small Business Opportunity Workshop in Bozeman on Friday, May 17 at Montana State University.
The goal is to connect national tourism industry leaders with Montana businesses, expanding tourism opportunities and creating jobs. The session will include a panel dubbed “Big Sky Advantage,” featuring four tourism-related businesses:
– John Herzer, Blackfoot River Outfitters – Missoulia-based fly fishing guide company
– Randy Roberson, Yellowstone Vacations – custom Yellowstone travel company
– Benjamin Bennett, Massive Studios – Bozeman marketing agency with tourism industry clients
– Kaleigh Brook, When in Rome Pizza – Mediterranean restaurant in Bigfork
The workshop, which begins at 9 a.m., is free and open to the public. Those interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP at tester.senate.gov/rsvp.
Tester’s Bozeman workshop builds on 12 previous small business workshops held around Montana attended by more than 2,000 Montana companies and individuals.
