From April 25 through May 3, the City of Bozeman welcomes community members to help pick up litter around Bozeman. In an effort to keep Bozeman beautiful, the city offers a clean up kit for participants to safely dispose of litter in and around Bozeman.
Participants can register themselves or a group online or at the Gallatin Valley Earth Day Festival. Registered participants can pick up a CleanUp Kit at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds on April 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The CleanUp Kit includes gloves, vests, yellow bags and instructions.
Over the course of the next week, everyone is encouraged to pick an area or location in Bozeman they think needs some cleaning. The yellow bags are for trash and green bags for recyclables. When full, leave the bags on the street curb and the Solid Waste Division will pick them up during the week.
The City of Bozeman asks participants to return the safety vests to the Bozeman Public Library, Bozeman City Hall, Alfred M Stiff Building and the City Shops Complex.
