A 41-year-old man, Brandon Rhea, was found dead in Yellowstone National Park’s Yellowstone Lake on June 8, announced a June 11 press release from the National Park Service. Rhea of Denver, Colorado, was discovered deceased by boaters near Rock Point close to Bridge Bay on the lake’s northwest shore.
National Park Service rangers recovered the body, a capsized kayak and personal belongings. The incident remains under investigation and the park services stated that no additional information is available at this time.
