His latest album, The Universal Fire, reflects on beauty, loss, legacy, and resilience. Recorded live in one room with members of Calexico and Bon Iver, the album was shaped in part by the loss of Foucault’s longtime friend and drummer, Billy Conway, resulting in a collection that feels both intimate and expansive.
