Greater Gallatin United Way has opened enrollment for kidsLINK before-school, afterschool and school-break programming for the 2026–27 school year, marking the program’s 30th year. What began in a handful of rural schools now partners with 15 schools directly and helps fund programming at five more, supporting over 1,200 children across Gallatin County, explained an Aug. 10 press release from GGUW.
“kidsLINK is much more than child care, it is community and workforce infrastructure,” said Kim Hall, president and CEO of GGUW. “When children are safe and supported, parents can remain at work knowing their families have dependable care.”
New for this year, drop-in afterschool care will be available at every location, PIR Day Camp registration is available year-round, and expanded morning-care options will be available at select schools. Full and partial tuition assistance is available for families who need it. Families are encouraged to register early, as locations fill quickly. More information can be found on their website.
