On Tuesday, Oct. 15, professor of human development and family dynamics J. Mitchell Vaterlaus will present “All in the Family: The Scientific Study of Families in Relationships” in the Museum of the Rockies’ Hager Auditorium.
The talk will start at 7 p.m. and is a part of the yearly Montana State University Provost’s Distinguished Lecturer Series. The lecture is free and open to the public with seating first-come first-served.
“Mitch Vaterlaus will discuss his career journey and share research on family dynamics, particularly how media, technology, the COVID-19 pandemic and inherent family strengths shape relationships within the family unit,” a release from MSU stated. “He will also highlight the resilience and adaptability of families, emphasizing the importance of interventions at the family level to support and strengthen these relationships during times of change.”
The series of public events are meant to share the creative scholarship of MSU professors and the inspiration behind their work.
