SUMMARY:The Portal - Cacao Ceremony\, Transcendental Breathwork\, Sound Journey Meditation
DESCRIPTION:Begin the New Year by going beyond the limits of the self and reality through a ceremonial experience designed to help you realize the infinite nature of who you are and your ability to thrive and heal.\nIt is the nature of our human mind that holds us back from our unlimited potential\, and when we enter the Portal we access an unlimited realm of intuition\, inner guidance\, creativity and personal transformation. \nThis is the space all great inventors\, visionaries\, sages and wisdom traditions have been able to access. We all have this gift within us and we provide the tools and awareness for accessing this hidden potential. \nWe will combine the heart-opening powers of cacao with the transcendental powers of breathwork and sound. Together\, these practices will give us the opportunity for a deep inward journey and peak state experience. \nThis experience can activate and clear the chakras\, release trauma\, reset the nervous system\, connect us with higher consciousness\, and help us achieve self-actualization. \nNo prior experience is necessary. \nYou will be lying down for the meditation\, so please bring a yoga mat\, blanket\, and pillow. \n*Not suitable for those who are pregnant or experience epilepsy\, heart problems\, or severe medical conditions. Also\, individuals on SSRI prescription medications\, those sensitive to caffeine\, and individuals with chocolate allergies should consult a healthcare professional before consuming cacao. \nFacilitators: Brian & Alecia Assam \nOur complementary skill sets are based in several disciplines\, including psychology (developmental\, evolutionary\, energy\, behavioral\, etc.)\, neuroscience\, Integral Theory\, Kundalini & Hatha Yoga\, the Wim Hof method\, Oxygen Advantage breathing\, shamanic breathing principles\, along with a deep-seated wisdom in human consciousness. \n**Space is limited\, and these events fill up. We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. \nMore about Cacao:Cacao is known throughout South America as the “Elixir of the Gods.” It is a powerful medical plant for opening the Heart Chakra and expanding our awareness/consciousness. It can aid in personal transformation\, awakening\, removing negative patterns\, or feeling a deeper connection with higher self and source consciousness.Cacao\, in its raw and natural state\, contains over 300 compounds\, including the chemicals anandamide\, phenylethylamine\, and theobromine\, known for euphoric-blissful states. The cacao we will use in this ceremony is pure\, ceremonial grade.

SUMMARY:Sound Bath with Lily
DESCRIPTION:Lily will guide us into a state of calmness and clarity. As she plays the crystal singing bowls they produce specific frequencies that target the body’s energy centers; providing ease\, and unblocking the stuck energy within the body. \nThis opportunity to loosen and relax will allow the body to re-establish balance and harmony at a vibrational and energetic level. For when the body and mind are given space to drop into peace\, cellular regeneration begins to take place. The body is then activated to its original crystalline structure and any stagnation\, negative energy & dis-ease are released from the body. \nJoin us on this journey to liberate and re-align our body’s frequency back into optimal function. \nWilhelmina Goldberg grew up with an unexplainable relationship with sound. At a young age\, she realized how sound can change the way the mind and body feel. After learning about the power of sound healing\, Wilhelmina fell in love with not only healing herself directly through vibrations but the idea of also healing others. She bought her first sound bowl in 2020. Since then she has traveled all over the East Coast\, Montana\, and Wyoming hosting sound baths. The gift of sharing the divine power of frequencies and meditation with hundreds of people brings her so much joy and gratitude. She looks forward to guiding you in a deep meditation and closing the night with reflective conversation. \n*only 6 swings available\, please call to reserve a swing.

SUMMARY:Pictures at an Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:The Bozeman Symphony invites audiences on a captivating musical journey with Pictures at an Exhibition\, Maurice Ravel’s dazzling orchestration of Modest Mussorgsky’s timeless masterpiece\, paired with Kevin Puts’ Marimba Concerto\, in two thrilling performances at the Willson Auditorium in downtown Bozeman during the last weekend in April. \nOriginally composed in 1874 as a piano suite\, Pictures at an Exhibition brings to life the striking artworks of Russian architect and painter Viktor Hartmann. Through ten vividly distinct movements\, Mussorgsky paints musical portraits of scenes ranging from playful baby chicks and a menacing fairytale witch to the solemnity of catacombs and the grandeur of the Great Gate of Kiev. The piece is most famously known in its orchestral form\, arranged by Ravel in 1922\, which highlights its dramatic color and sweeping intensity. \nAdding to the program\, the Symphony’s former Principal Percussionist\, Dana Dominguez\, takes center stage as the featured soloist in Grammy Award-winning composer Puts’ Marimba Concerto. Showcasing both the lyrical and rhythmic capabilities of the marimba\, this concerto highlights Dominguez’s technical mastery and expressive musicianship. Originally from San Antonio\, Texas\, Dominguez is now a member of the United States Navy Band’s prestigious Concert and Ceremonial Band\, performing at official government and military events\, including ceremonies at the White House\, Pentagon\, and Arlington National Cemetery. She was a member of the Bozeman Symphony from 2020 to 2024. \nRounding out the program is Nina Shekhar’s Lumina\, a mesmerizing work that traces a journey from darkness into light with delicate textures and luminous harmonies. \nPerformances are on Saturday\, April 26\, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday\, April 27\, at 2:30 p.m. Tickets start at $29 and are available at https://www.bozemansymphony.org/pictures-at-an-exhibition or by calling 406-585-9774.
