DESCRIPTION:Al-Anon is a worldwide fellowship that offers support to individuals affected by someone else’s drinking. We are a non-profit and volunteer-led group; our goal is simply to let those in need know that help and hope are available locally. \n \nOur Group Meeting is held every Monday night at 5:30pm at Wellness in Action\, located at 47855 Gallatin Rd in Big Sky. It is the first room on the right\, immediately after you enter the front door. We welcome all in need of support from the challenges of a loved one’s drinking.

SUMMARY:J. Carmichael performing at Bitter Root Brewing
DESCRIPTION:J. Carmichael (songwriter/mandolinist) writes ballads about love\, God\, and a world spinning out of control. Defiance\, perhaps to a fault\, echoes in his music\, from the way he writes\, to the instruments he plays\, to what he writes about. Never content being confined within a genre\, he grew up on Nashville Now and 90’s punk and indie and is influenced by the songwriting giants of many genres; just as comfortable at a fiddle festival as he is at a punk rock show or in a Nashville writer room. J has released 3 full length records and a handful of EPs with another album coming in 2025. J spent 2008-2013 recording albums and playing shows from Washington State to Texas playing as an opener for bands like Lucero\, Tumbledown (Mike of MxPx)\, Scott Biram\, and then yet to break out altcountry sensation John Moreland. After becoming a father J took several years away from performing and recording and served communities in Idaho and Washington states driving ambulances and fighting wildfires. Some souls however\, are bound to roam and share stories and songs along the way. In 2024 J set out on the road again with a pile of new songs and looks forward to doing even more of it in 2025. jcarmichaelmusic.com
