DESCRIPTION:Al-Anon is a worldwide fellowship that offers support to individuals affected by someone else’s drinking. DESCRIPTION:Join us every Tuesday in August for MOR’s History on Tap at the Living History Farm\, where folk music\, engaging history conversations\, and brews come together. Musicians are welcome to share their talents with the crowd at various times during the event. \nWhen: Tuesdays in August\, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.\nWhere: Living History Farm at Museum of the Rockies\nWho: Ages 21+ | Free admission (first come\, first in\, 200 adults max)\nFeatured Breweries: A different Montana brewery each week \nWhat to Expect: \n\nLive American Roots music with Prairie Schooners\, and an open mic. Musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments and share their musical talents with the crowd.\nA unique history chat each week to connect with the past in an informal\, engaging way.\nThe cash bar will offer a rotating selection of local brews for purchase. The Last Call is at 7:30 p.m.\, and the Living History Farm gates will close at 8 p.m.\nBring your chairs\, blankets\, non-alcoholic beverages\, and a picnic dinner (outside alcohol prohibited). A food truck may be available\, but it is not guaranteed.\n\nNo reservations are needed\, so arrive early\, find a spot\, and enjoy an evening of history\, music\, and community. \nPlease consider making a donation at each event to support the museum’s mission: Museum of the Rockies (MOR) invites all people to discover natural science and cultural history. DESCRIPTION:In August we will feature an exhibit of charcoal portraits by artist Tyler Hoff. Titled “The People we Meet” the show is a tribute to the strangers\, friends and fleeting moments that shape our day. Tyler is uniquely skilled in capturing expressive emotion in a moment of time.  \n\n\n\nTyler also does charcoal portraits by commission\, creating unique memories.  \n\n\n\nWe hope you’ll stop in to see this new original work and to also view new work from the permanent members of the Studio and Gallery. \n\n\n\nWe will be hosting our FIRST FRIDAY summer evening on Friday August 1 from 5 – 7PM. We welcome locals and visitors to come by for sips and bits and an opportunity to meet and support the artists who make up the Big Sky Artists Collective. \n\n\n\n Open daily from 11 – 6PM\, and later\, depending on weather\, on Farmers Market Wednesdays.

DESCRIPTION:Al-Anon is a worldwide fellowship that offers support to individuals affected by someone else’s drinking. We are a non-profit and volunteer-led group; our goal is simply to let those in need know that help and hope are available locally. \n \nOur Group Meeting is held every Monday night at 5:30pm at Wellness in Action\, located at 47855 Gallatin Rd in Big Sky. It is the first room on the right\, immediately after you enter the front door. We welcome all in need of support from the challenges of a loved one’s drinking.

DESCRIPTION:Join us every Tuesday in August for MOR’s History on Tap at the Living History Farm\, where folk music\, engaging history conversations\, and brews come together. Musicians are welcome to share their talents with the crowd at various times during the event. \nWhen: Tuesdays in August\, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.\nWhere: Living History Farm at Museum of the Rockies\nWho: Ages 21+ | Free admission (first come\, first in\, 200 adults max)\nFeatured Breweries: A different Montana brewery each week \nWhat to Expect: \n\nLive American Roots music with Prairie Schooners\, and an open mic. Musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments and share their musical talents with the crowd.\nA unique history chat each week to connect with the past in an informal\, engaging way.\nThe cash bar will offer a rotating selection of local brews for purchase. The Last Call is at 7:30 p.m.\, and the Living History Farm gates will close at 8 p.m.\nBring your chairs\, blankets\, non-alcoholic beverages\, and a picnic dinner (outside alcohol prohibited). A food truck may be available\, but it is not guaranteed.\n\nNo reservations are needed\, so arrive early\, find a spot\, and enjoy an evening of history\, music\, and community. \nPlease consider making a donation at each event to support the museum’s mission: Museum of the Rockies (MOR) invites all people to discover natural science and cultural history. The museum’s exhibits\, collections\, programs\, and research create a community resource that brings the world to Montana and shares the Northern Rockies with the world.

SUMMARY:Symphony Storytime with a Steel Pan Drum
DESCRIPTION:The Bozeman Symphony invites children and families to a special Symphony Storytime featuring the steel pan drum on Wednesday\, Aug. 13\, at 10:15 a.m. at the Bozeman Public Library. Presented in partnership with the Library’s Toddler and Preschool Storytime\, this free\, interactive program blends lively storytelling with the wonder of live music\, creating a joyful experience especially for children ages 3 to 5.\n\nThe morning’s adventure will feature Bozeman Symphony percussionist Kris Olsen and Montana Shakespeare in the Parks Associate Artistic Director Riley O’Toole as the guest reader. Together\, they will bring a story to life through the magical combination of words and music.
