On April 1, the Gallatin County Commission will host a public hearing at 9 a.m. where they will vote to approve or deny the application for the Hidden Creek affordable housing development.
The effort is in partnership with United Housing Partners LLC and the Human Resource Development Council to positively impact the supply of permanent deed-restricted community affordable housing, according to a press release. Hidden Creek would be located north of the Gallatin County Rest Home on Durston Road in Bozeman
The new neighborhood is planned to include 182 apartments under the federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit program, a community land trust with nine “for sale” equity-restricted rowhomes and an infrastructure-ready parcel that will remain under Gallatin County ownership.
The partnership has prepared a Preliminary Site Plan Application to submit to the City of Bozeman. The agenda, drawings, documents and a virtual attendance option are all available on the commission calendar.
