BIG SKY—On August 2 at approximately 11:50 pm an ATV crash was reported on Andesite Road in the Yellowstone Club at Big Sky.
Yellowstone Club Department of Public Safety, Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office and Montana Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
CPR and first aid was administered to the passenger at the scene but 19-year-old Parker Regan of Mendham, NJ died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Court documents state 19-year old James Sinclair Welch admitted he had been driving the ATV when Regan fell out on Thursday night.
A judge set Welch’s bond at $50,000 during his initial court appearance on Friday.
The incident is currently under investigation by Montana Highway Patrol.
