The National Park Service will waive park entrance fees for the 19th annual National Public Lands Day on Saturday, Sept. 29.

Yellowstone National Park is using a group of volunteers to help out with a work project for what has become the nation’s largest single hands-on volunteer effort.
The project involves trail restoration work along the Purple Mountain Trail in the Madison Junction area.

To learn more about all of the volunteer opportunities on public lands throughout the region, visit the National Public Lands Day website at publiclandsday.org.
