great cowboy music, poetry and more!

Cowboy troubadour Wylie Gustafson, of Wylie & The Wild West, and word-spurrin’ poet and lyricist Paul Zarzyski will grace The Ellen stage on Friday, July 8 with an all-acoustic show. Cold beer and wine will be served starting at 7 p.m. with good ol’ stories, songs and cowboy poetry starting at 8 p.m.

While Gustafson and Zarzyski each have individual careers, but they have recently been collaborating on songwriting and performing together around the country. Gustafson’s most recent album Hang n’ Rattle includes seven songs co-written with Zarzyski. Both are kinetic, physical performers and when they’re interacting with each other, the energy level is explosive. Like two old-time cowpokes sitting around a campfire making up verses, Gustafson and Zarzyski are firmly rooted in tradition.

Tickets are 17.00 and can be purchased at theellentheatre.com. These two are a couple of the best darn cowboy performers around and you’ll be kickin’ up your heels when they showcase their talent – and tip their hats to the ol’ west.
