This winter, Bridger Brewing in Three Forks will host the inaugural Bridger Brewskis and Spurs Skijoring Competition from Feb. 28 through March 1. The two-day event is presented in partnership with Bridger Brewing and KH Horse Consulting and celebrates Montana’s western heritage through the fast-growing winter sport of skijoring.
Organizers describe the event as a community-centered winter celebration designed to connect people to the land, the sport and one another. The family-friendly weekend will feature a skijoring competition, local food, Montana-based vendors and live music. Spectator tickets are available for purchase online.
Skijoring will feature multiple divisions including Open 4D, Youth, Snowboarding and Switcheroo, offering opportunities for both experienced and new competitors to compete.
Pre-registration for competitors will be held on Jan. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bozeman Bridger Brewing location and on Jan. 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bridger Brewing in Three Forks.
