On Thursday, April 9, Second Season will host an encore production of the 2026 Big Sky Shootout for anyone who missed the March 26 event—or anyone who just wants to see it again.
The showing starts at 7 p.m. at The Waypoint, with tickets available online.
A Second Season press release noted the importance of celebrating the spirit of Big Sky’s community and mountain culture by bringing together filmmakers, photographers, athletes and storytellers to showcase original works created right here in Big Sky. The event aims to foster connection, creativity and shared appreciation for mountain life.
“Due to overwhelming community response and a sold-out debut… The encore event offers audiences another opportunity to experience this year’s most compelling films and photo presentations,” the release stated.
As with the originally scheduled shootout, the encore production encourages attendees to dress according to a Big Sky Prom theme, “from designer to dirtbag attire.” Awards will follow at 8:30 p.m., with an afterparty until 10:30.
