Kircliff attraction will host visitors for its first summer

Big Sky Resort will welcome summer visitors starting Saturday, June 13.
Visitors can catch scenic rides on the Explorer Gondola, Ramcharger 8 and the Lone Peak Tram from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The gondola and Ramcharger will open to mountain bikers starting at 10 a.m. daily, and Swift Current 6 will open on weekends starting July 3.
Also starting on July 3, sunset hours allow for later rides on weekends. Visitors can take scenic rides from 5 to 8 p.m. and bikers can make use of later hours from 5 to 7 p.m.
Events this summer at the resort include downhill bike races designed for intermediate to expert-level riders on 10 Fridays throughout the season; a women’s mountain bike skills clinic series starting on July 3; celebrations for July 4; and The Rut Mountain Runs in mid-September.
This will be the first summer for people to visit Kircliff, a glass observatory at the top of Lone Mountain with views of the mountain ranges surrounding Big Sky. Tickets to Kircliff are $67 for adults aged 18-69 and include access to the Explorer Gondola, Lone Peak Tram and Ramcharger 8 for scenic rides.
