Bozeman Health has begun construction at the Big Sky Medical Center on a clinic on a previously unfinished space on the hospital’s second floor.

The area will serve as a multi-purpose clinic space, designed to support specialty services as well as IV infusions, to help Bozeman Health provide more health care services in the Big Sky community, according to a press release from Bozeman Health.

“As we enter our 11th year serving Big Sky residents and visitors, we are committed to growing and enhancing health care services to meet the evolving needs of our community,” Kelly Halmes, BSMC administrator, stated in the release. She noted that in recent years, the medical center has expanded to include services such as transitional care, physical therapy, ultrasound and mental health care. “Bozeman Health remains dedicated to listening to the Big Sky community and its health care needs, and this new multi-specialty clinic is a direct reflection of that commitment.”

The construction is not expected to cause any significant disruption to regular patient care, although access to the upstairs community room may be restricted at certain times. Bozeman Health will provide advance notice to users with community room reservations.

Construction is anticipated to wrap up in December 2026, and the new clinic space will open to patients in January.
