This weekend, from Nov. 1 to 3, friends and family of Marty Pavelich will gather in Big Sky for a celebration of life and memorial service.
On Saturday, the Big Sky community is invited to the celebration of life and reception to follow; the celebration is scheduled from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at BASE, with the reception from 5 to 9 p.m. at The Wilson Hotel.

Other events are scheduled on Friday and Sunday for family and close friends, many of whom are traveling from other states.
Marty Pavelich spent decades living in Big Sky after a successful career in the National Hockey League. EBS spoke with Pavelich’s friends and family after his passing in June to capture his legacy and impact on the Big Sky community.
