HRDC’s 19th annual Huffing for Stuffing 5K and 10K will take place Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 27, once again gathering families for a pre-meal footrace and to raise money for the Gallatin Valley Food Bank. Since its inception in 2007, Huffing for Stuffing has provided over half a million dollars in funding to the local food bank.
Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome, continuing a tradition that has become a staple of the holiday in Bozeman. This year, participants are asked to remember John Dudas, the initial founder of Huffing for Stuffing and beloved community member, who passed away unexpectedly this past May.
Races start at 8 a.m. in the Museum of the Rockies parking lot. Parking is available at Montana State University’s Brick Breeden Fieldhouse, University Police Station, Greek Way and east of the Museum of the Rockies near Freshies and Pilgrim Church.
Race participant and volunteer registration is available online ahead of race day.
