On Saturday, March 7, the nonprofit Big Sky Artists’ Collective will host a new event, “Celebration of Art” from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at The Wilson Hotel.
As part of the family-friendly show and sale event, 15 local artists will display and sell a wide array of art including paintings, mosaics and photography. Participants include accomplished professionals and international award winners, according to a press release from the collective. The event will include live music, painting demos, and an apres ski event called “The Art of Whiskey,” in partnership with Willie’s Distillery.
“The Big Sky Artists Collective is continually striving to support our artists with opportunity to show and sell their work,” Maggie Shane, show coordinator, told EBS via email. “By collaborating with The Wilson Hotel our artists can shine and together we create an art experience for everyone.”
The collective is now six years old, and includes a membership of 29 local artists and a gallery along Ousel Falls Road in Town Center.
