On Saturday, July 19 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the ninth annual Big Sky Artisan Festival will take over Len Hill Park in Town Center.
The free event is hosted by the nonprofit Arts Council of Big Sky, and will feature more than 80 arts and crafts vendors from around the region. Entertainment will include a live musician showcase, beer garden, food trucks, art activities for kids and a silent auction featuring quick-draw pieces by three well-known artists—Drew Christie of Oregon, and Susan Moncada and DG House of Montana—according to an arts council press release.
“The Artisan Festival is becoming one of our larger events of the year,” Arts Council Executive Director Brian Hurlbut stated in the release. “We’re thrilled to feature these amazing artists to the Big Sky summer crowd.”
In partnership with Visit Big Sky, the 2025 event will debut a self-guided scavenger hunt encouraging attendees to explore the community while discovering artwork by local artists displayed at participating businesses. Scavengers can take a photo at each location for a chance to win a $500 gift basket including items from local artists and retailers.
The scavenger hunt is open and ends Saturday with a prize drawing at 4 p.m. at the Artisan Festival.
