On Saturday, Feb. 7, from 11-12:30 p.m., the Belgrade Community Library will host an all-ages Superb Owl Party. A play on the Super Bowl, which airs the following Sunday, Superb Owl will feature talks and Q&A with Montana Raptor Center staff, their live ambassador birds of prey, including owls and other raptors, as well as owl pellet dissection kits for kids to take home (while supplies last).
The event is free, open to the public and geared to incite curiosity from all age groups. Fans of superb owls, or any superb raptors, can also support the efforts of the nonprofit raptor center in their upcoming Bowling for Birds event on March 7, with individual, teams or corporate sponsorship levels available.
