Topping the list of Best Mountain in Montana, Big Sky Resort took the cake. And it isn’t surprising. With 148 of 155 runs open, covering 3,656 skiable acres, Big Sky has the goods. Kim Hueftle (L) makes a mean wrap, and the Wrap Shack won Best Lunch for 2012. They offer affordable monster wraps with such names as the Smokin’ Gringo, with slow-roasted pulled pork and The Buddha, with grilled steak. Karen Macklin and Don Mattusch took over the operation in 2011 and offer something for everyone. Don’t forget to try the frozen marguerita.
