Big Sky Youth Empowerment just launched their summer programs, which takes more than 50 at-risk youth from Bozeman, Big Sky and Belgrade rafting, climbing and to Yellowstone. The kids also take part in service projects and character development workshops.
In 2011, BYEP has published monthly stories in the Big Sky Weekly and on explorebigsky, including one full page photo collage, which got great feedback. Outlaw Partners, which owns explorebigsky and the Weekly, also donated four PBR tickets to the BYEP golf tournament fundraiser this summer, and supported the organization at the spring runoff silent auction.
