The Waypoint hosts a night of live music and dancing to support Big Sky Community Housing Trust

Since the Big Sky Community Housing Trust became an independent nonprofit in 2020, they’ve established homes for more than 500 locals living and working in the Big Sky community.
In celebration of their accomplishments and the continued commitment to establishing housing solutions in the Big Sky area, the organization is again partnering with the Zaremba Potts Real Estate Group to host the fourth annual Winter Ball on March 13 at The Waypoint.
Featuring live music by the local band Savvy, the Winter Ball brings together community leaders, businesses and full-time and seasonal locals for a night of dancing, connection and community focus.
“We’re hoping a variety of locals will join us for a fun night of dancing, an open bar with live music and a celebration that supports the efforts going into achieving affordable housing in Big Sky,” said Matt Zaremba. “We think everyone deserves a night off after all the hard work that’s been put in.”
The organizers are still looking for additional sponsors for the event to support Cold Smoke, a new neighborhood adjacent to the RiverView apartments, which the Housing Trust says is their most ambitious proposal yet. Cold Smoke will provide 389 deed-restricted homes for rent or purchase exclusively for Big Sky’s full-time workforce. The Housing Trust hopes to deliver the first 50-100 affordable homes by 2028, ensuring that many who help Big Sky to thrive can also call it home.
“We’ve come a long way in the past five years to provide housing options for Big Sky locals,” Zaremba said. “The Winter Ball is a great way to celebrate with the community and reflect on all the housing accomplishments while connecting for a really fun night.”
