Riley’s Urgent Fund for Friends will host RUFF’s Best in Show, a new fundraising event benefiting Big Sky’s future animal shelter, from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28 at the Big Sky Arts Council Building in Town Center. The evening will feature dinner from Phil Dillavou of Family Meal by Phil, drinks from BYWOM and live music from Zander Chovanes and Benny Macht. Emcee Jeremy Harder will lead the Doggie Runway Show, live auction and raffle.
The event supports RUFF’s effort to build Big Sky’s first dedicated animal shelter, slated to open this fall.
“RUFF’s Best in Show is a celebration of everything we love about this community—its heart, its energy, and its commitment to caring for animals,” said Stephanie “Dr. Syd” Desmarais, founder of RUFF and owner of Lone Peak Veterinary Hospital. “Every dollar raised brings us closer to creating a permanent shelter that will serve Big Sky’s pets and families for years to come.”
This year’s event is sponsored by Courtney Collins Fine Art, Lone Mountain Land Company and Yellowstone Club Community Foundation, with room for additional sponsors still available. General admission and VIP tickets, which include dinner, drinks and free raffle entry, are available online.
