The Livingston-based pork and poultry farm Black Dog Farm is offering a new summer program: Farm Club. From June through September, customers will have the opportunity to customize their CSA and have the option to pick-up or have their CSA delivered for a flat rate.
Established in 2017, Black Dog Farm is the vision of husband and wife team Kira Jarosz and Tim Anthony who were searching for ethical, sustainable and local options for pork and poultry in Montana. What started as a few chickens and pigs in their backyard has grown into a thriving local business serving individuals and businesses in both Park and Gallatin counties.
Their new program, Farm Club, is similar to their previous CSA but offers a more approachable amount of food for families and individuals who don’t necessarily have freezer space for bulk food items.
The once a month program offers a fully customizable CSA available in two sizes and provides eggs and choice of meat, ranging from chicken, sausage, pork and duck. Customers can choose to pick up the CSA at the Bozeman or Livingston farmers markets or, for the first time, have it delivered to Big Sky for a one-time fee.
The original CSA, which offers different packages for pork, chicken and sausage, is also available for free delivery on orders of $100 or more.
