‘Bond’ alumni in hot water after Yellowstone trip

Irish actor Pierce Brosnan has been accused of walking off the boardwalk in Yellowstone National Park, according to NBC Montana. Court documents filed by the District of Wyoming cite the “James Bond” and “Mama Mia” actor for “foot travel in a thermal area of Yellowstone National Park, in the Yellowstone Canyon area.” The actor has been ordered to appear at the Yellowstone Justice Center on Jan. 23.

According to the Yellowstone National Park website, visitors are required to stay on designated trails and boardwalks to protect fragile thermal features, as well as for safety; “Hot springs have injured or killed more people in Yellowstone than any other natural feature,” states the website’s safety page.
