On Nov. 13, Peak Ski Company introduced custom-branded skis for its full product line in partnership with Adventure Scientists, a nonprofit that mobilizes and trains outdoor enthusiasts and local communities to volunteer and collect high-quality scientific data in support of environmental efforts.

Peak will donate $300 to Adventure Scientists for every pair of co-branded skis sold, according to a press release from Adventure Scientists. The deal can be activated by purchasing any 2023-24 skis and entering the promo code “ADVENTURE” at checkout.

Adventure Scientists is a “globally respected nonprofit dedicated to accelerating conservation and climate solutions,” according to the release. Both organizations are based in Bozeman.

“Our ethos includes a strong commitment to conservation and finding solutions that will yield lasting change to protect and conserve the amazing environment in which we spend our time working and playing,” Andy Wirth, Peak co-founder and CEO, stated in the release. “It was clear from our first meeting that our values were aligned with the Adventure Scientists team, particularly around direct and immediate action in the fight against the impacts of climate change. The Adventure Scientists custom ski program is just one of what I anticipate to be many programs we develop to support their efforts.”

“As a backcountry skier and field biologist, I’ve personally seen how recreation and conservation complement one another. The ski community is an essential part of our mission,” Gregg Treinish, founder and executive director of Adventure Scientists, stated. “Many thanks to Peak for recognizing the role Adventure Scientists plays in conservation and for helping to propel our work forward.”
