From March 2 through the end of the month, Bozeman Public Library will host an exhibit called “Anne Frank: A History for Today,” tracing Frank’s life from birth, to her death in a concentration camp.
The exhibit was developed by the University of South Carolina’s Anne Frank House, and has traveled across the world. Visitors will experience photographs, historical materials and interpretive displays as part of a self-guided tour with docents “available intermittently” at the library. The exhibit will be open during BPL’s operating hours, according to a press release from the library.
“The Library is honored to host this exhibit,” Becky Kasten, BPL’s assistant library director, stated in the release. “Anne Frank’s diary has captured the world’s attention since it was published, and it continues to have a lasting impact, even right here in Bozeman in 2026. We’re looking forward to sharing her story.”
An opening ceremony will be held March 4 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the library’s community room. Montana State Sen. Cora Neumann will speak at the reception, and the release noted Neumann is a granddaughter of Holocaust refugees.
The release noted the exhibition and associated events are sponsored by the Bozeman Library Friends and Foundation.
