According to NASA, the Perseid meteor shower can be seen in U.S. skies this weekend. In order to get the best views, NASA recommends getting away from suburbs and light pollution.
The tiny meteoroids can be seen all over the sky and 40 Perseids per hour can be seen before dawn on the peak nights. This year NASA identified the peak night as Saturday, Aug. 12.
