One of the “Top Skiers of All Time”, as named by Powder magazine, Dan Egan, is teaching two steeps clinics, Feb. 27 – March 1, and March 13-15 at Big Sky Resort.
The three-day sessions are designed for strong intermediate to advanced skiers looking to take their skiing to the next level. Participants will learn tactics to safely and confidently explore the best steep and challenging terrain Lone Mountain has to offer.
“We’ll cover the strategy and tactics for where we go and why, changing the way you’ll see the mountain,” Egan said, adding that the only thing extreme is the level of fun.
Both clinics will include guiding, individual instruction and video movement analysis by Egan for small group sizes of three to seven participants.
“I do my camps at Big Sky Resort because of the terrain,” Egan said. “It’s the most unique, different and special terrain in America.”
A world-renowned adventure skier, Egan has appeared in 12 Warren Miller films and more recently become an award-winning producer nominated for three Emmy Awards. He hosts the Wild World of Winter television series, has co-founded skiclinics.com, and coaches X-team Advanced Ski Clinics all over the world.
