We’re bringing the smoke this week with Bozeman’s Yellow House Barbecue owner Austin Brown. His ridiculous custom smoker cranks out top-notch Texas-style barbecue behind a little yellow historic home at 609 West Mendenhall.
Austin talks about his Texas pitmaster predecessors, his brisket process, and his special smoking wood that is definitely not mesquite. If you haven’t given it a whirl yet, the hours are spotty and the picnic tables are plain, but the food is legit.
