Gallatin Gateway Fire Department adds two ambulances to fleet

The Gallatin Gateway Fire Department, a volunteer department located in Gateway serving the Gallatin County region, revealed in a social media post that they’ve added two ambulances to their fleet. The announcement credited hard work from the Fire Chief and board of directors and the department’s focus on “fiscal responsibility” for making it possible to purchase the new rigs.

Each ambulance is equipped with four- wheel drive, a cardiac monitor, stretcher, trauma and medical supplies and oxygen supply. They will be used for quick response to medical emergencies and are ultimately being prepped for longer transport units.

“Our patient care is really going to expand with these two rigs that we’ve got at Gateway Fire, and we are very excited to bring this to the constituents of our fire district,” Captain Ray Mines stated in a video posted to the fire department’s Facebook page.
