Situated in a barn-red nursery visible just north of Gallatin Gateway, The Garden Barn was picked by television network HGTV for a list of the 52 Top Garden Centers in the United States, representing the state of Montana. Last month, the home and garden media source released a list of the top garden centers, one for each state (including two ties).
The article described The Garden Barn as a “design-forward flora and fauna nirvana,” noting that in addition to flowers and plants, “there is also plenty of fur, feathers and scales at the Garden Barn including 16 peacocks, five golden pheasants, a turkey, three cats, many koi fish, a skink, countless chickens and 1 million (give or take a few) bees.”
In addition to its primary barn in Gateway, the Garden Barn also has a small houseplants location in The Market, a Bozeman shopping center which includes Bozeman’s only cat cafe.
