This Halloween season, the Gallatin History Museum invites brave souls to step into the shadows of history with an event called “Gallows, Graves, Ghost Towns and Other Ghastly Tales.” Led by longtime museum volunteer Marlene Kauffeld, these fun, family friendly and festive evening tours take a look into the eerie and ghost-like stories that shaped southwest Montana.

From infamous outlaws to haunted homesteads, participants will hear tales about the region’s frontier past. Please note: some stories may include mature or sensitive themes—parental discretion is advised. Each one-hour tour begins at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on the following dates: Oct. 24, 25, 30, 31 and Nov. 1. Tickets are $15 per person, and reservations are required. To reserve your spot, call (406) 522-8122.
