Letter to the Editor: The Big Sky Community Theatre auditions are Sept. 2

Are you ready for something novel and challenging? Are you looking for ways to meet new people and laugh so hard your stomach hurts? Then join us for Big Sky Community Theatre auditions on Wednesday Sept. 2 from 6-8 p.m. at the Warren Miller Performing Arts Center.

The BSCT is back and better than ever as the local troupe prepares to present “Doublewide, Texas,” a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud comedy by Jones Hope Wooten about eccentric trailer park residents fighting the annexation of their tiny town by a neighboring municipality.

As always, BSCT is looking for people of all backgrounds and desires. No experience or preparation is necessary, we will have participants read from sections of the script that will be provided on the evening of the audition. All that we ask is that interested parties arrive with their calendar to let us know of any possible conflicts for our rehearsal schedule. Rehearsals will begin the following week, Sept. 8, and will continue on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. up through the first week of November. The performance will be Nov. 5 and 6 at WMPAC. Backstage roles are available as well.
