BIG SKY – Lone Peak High School senior Justin Mayse is the first Big Horn football player, and second LPHS athlete, to sign a letter of intent to play at the collegiate level – golfer Tate Tatom signed with the Air Force Academy earlier this winter. Mayse played tight end, lineman, wide receiver and defensive end for the LPHS six-man football team, and Robertson scouted him after seeing film of Mayse earlier this winter.

“I gave him a call in December,” said Robertson, who traveled from Dillon on Feb. 25 for Mayse’s official signing day with the Bulldogs. “I was happy to hear he was excited about what we were doing, and I thought he’d be a good fit.”
