Luxury six-story development coming to downtown Bozeman

A news release from JLL Capital Markets announced that $47 million will go toward a development in Bozeman’s downtown at 421 West Main Street. The development will be a “121-unit, luxury market-rate multi-housing community,” according to the release.

“Freestone on Main” will be a six-story building with 121 apartments and 900 square feet of retail space, according to a release from the Bozeman Real Estate Group. Reuter-Walton Development will head the project, having worked in Bozeman before on the Cannery Flats Apartments.

According to the Bozeman Real Estate Group, the building is expected to be completed in October 2024. 

The commercial lot was previously home to the Bamboo Garden restaurant, which closed in 2022, , as well as Genuine Ice Cream, which has relocated,according to reporting by the Bozeman Daily Chronicle
