Explore Big Sky has conducted a number of interviews with candidates for Montana political office this year. Here is a collection of some of the relevant interviews and stories. We will continue with election coverage as voting day, Nov. 6, nears. Check back for new links each week.

The race for Montana’s U.S. Senate seat is one of the most hotly contested in the nation. Read exclusive interviews with incumbent Jon Tester, a Democrat, and challenger Denny Rehberg, a Republican here and an analysis of the race here.

Republican Steve Daines and Democrat Kim Gillan are vying for Denny Rehberg’s vacated seat in the U.S. House. Read an exclusive interview with Daines here and one with Gillan here.

The state auditor works to protect people from investment scams and ensures that insurance companies pay their customers’ rightful claims, and also sits on the State Land Board, which regulates the use of more than 5 million acres of state land. Read about the candidates here.
