BOZEMAN — Registration is open for spring semester programs offered by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Montana State University. Programming includes more than 50 courses, lectures, workshops, field trips, travel programs and discussion groups for the intellectually curious ages 50 and up.
OLLI at MSU, a program of Academic Technology and Outreach, will host 11 noncredit courses that are typically offered once a week for four to six weeks. Course tuition ranges from $50 to $75 with an OLLI at MSU membership, which is $55 per academic year.

- Quantum Physics: The Quiet Revolution
- Wildlife Conservation in North America
- Ancient Greece in 10 Objects
- An American Portrait: Part Two, 1878 to Present
- International Negotiations
- Living in the Digital Age: Misinformation and Digital Literacy
- Rags and Ragtime: A Musical History
- History of the Boeing Commercial Airplane Company
- Echoes of Genius: Unveiling German Musical Legacies
OLLI at MSU also offers online courses in collaboration with the Osher National Resource Center and the Northwestern University School of Professional Studies.
Additional spring programming includes a series of 10 lectures held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Mondays, starting Jan. 26. Shared interest groups, travel programs, How It’s Made tours, behind-the-scenes previews of art performances and exhibits, and a series of category-defying events and programs called OLLI Extras are likewise available for members. Non-members can participate in OLLI at MSU’s free community programs throughout the year, such as monthly Friday Forums and a biannual reception.
